"Some Combinatorial Problems on Latin-squares and Orthogonal Arrays"

Abstract:

We present briefly some historical perspective on the enumeration of Latin-squares of order n. We then define Orthogonal arrays and state their connections to Latin-squares. We finally present some results on the maximum number of constraints for some Orthogonal arrays by using the concept and results on Balanced arrays. We state briefly the usefulness of these combinatorial arrays in Design of Experiments.
