In this talk we discuss various situations where multivalued problems arise naturally in the study of both operator theory and differential equations. Much attention will be directed to generalizations of the classical degree theory for single-valued operators, to the environment of multivalued operators. Included are some recent results in this direction. This talk is for the general public.
Please join us for refreshments before the lecture at 2:30p.m. in room 353 Jabara Hall.
