**"Norm of aliase matrices in balanced fractional 2**^{m} factorial designs when interesting effects are not aliased with some non-negligible effects."

**Abstract:**

Consider a balance factional 2^{m} factorial (2^{m} - BFF) design derived from a balanced array of full strength such that the interesting factorial effects are not aliased (confounded) with the effects not to be of interest and not to be negligible. Such a design can be obtained by the algebraic structure of the triangular mutidimensional partially balance (TMDPB) association scheme and the generalized invers of a square matrix (see Kumada and Ikeda (1997). J. Japan Statist. Accosi.). Under the consideration, we give the norm of the aliase matrix in a 2^{m} - BFF design by using the properties of the TMDPB association algebra.
